Q: |
Can I drop my kids off? |
A: |
No, dropping off children is not allowed. As a co-operative, we rely on one parent or guardian per family to be in attendance during the morning session of each class week, in order to make sure that all areas of responsibility are covered. Parents are allowed to leave their middle school students under the supervision of co-op teachers during the afternoon session, and return to pick them up when afternoon classes end. |
Q: |
Is there a nursery? |
A: |
Yes, we offer separate infant and toddler nurseries where young children will be cared for during the morning. Infants ages 6 months and older are required to stay in the nursery. |
Q: |
What do parents do while their children are in class? |
A: |
We require one parent/guardian per family to be in attendance each week in order to cover all areas of responsibility. Responsibilities are assigned at the beginning of the school year. Roles include teachers, teacher assistants, class aides, and nursery workers. |
Q: |
What ages are served by this co-op? |
A: |
For the 2023-24 school year, we will offer programming for infants through 11th grade. (We add one grade level higher each year as our oldest students age up.) |
Q: |
Is this a Christian co-op? |
A: |
Yes, Raising Arrows is a Christian co-op, but we are not affiliated with any particular denomination. All members are required to indicate agreement with our statement of faith; all classes are taught from a Biblical point of view. Science classes are taught from a creationist point of view. |
